Websites on Tilda and Google Sites

Websites on Tilda and Google Sites — who each one suits

In Uzbekistan these two are searched for most often when someone wants to put a site together: Tilda and Google Sites. They are meant for entirely different jobs, and most people learn that after choosing.

Below: what each is made for, whom it suits and where its boundary lies. We deliberately give no prices: they change, and an outdated figure is worse than none. Check the current terms on the platform's own site.

Google Sites — for internal and simple pages

What it is. A free Google tool, alongside their documents. The page is tied to your Google account.

What is good. Free and very simple. If you can work with Google Docs, you can work with this. Documents and spreadsheets from Google Drive drop straight into the page.

The boundary. Few design options: the page stays recognisable and uniform. There is no online store and no payments. Search settings are limited.

When it fits. An internal page, a study project, an event page, a set of documents. That is, a page is needed, but it does not sell.

When it does not. If the site is the face of the business or sells through it.

Tilda — for design and long pages

What it is. A block builder: the page is assembled from ready blocks. The blocks are drawn carefully and the result comes out carefully too.

What is good. Long, storytelling pages come out very well — a landing page, a presentation, a portfolio. Even without design knowledge it will not look bad.

The boundary. The boundary of blocks: what the blocks did not foresee is hard to add. A complex multi-page site, or work with its own logic, is not what it is made for. And the site lives on the platform.

When it fits. When you need one strong page: a landing page, a promotion, a presentation. Especially when design matters.

When it does not. A catalogue, complex logic, your own structure.

A third way: AI builders

In recent years a third kind appeared: you describe the task in words and the program assembles the site. Blocks are not chosen — the structure follows the description.

The practical difference: in a block builder you say "put this block here"; in an AI builder, "show what clients say here". The second is faster, but the result depends on your description.

Tayyorsayt belongs to this kind. In this article we do not place it above the others: Google Sites is free and simple, Tilda is strong in design — these are real advantages, and for some tasks they are exactly right.

How to choose — three questions

Does the site sell, or does it just need to exist? If it does not sell, Google Sites is enough and free. If it does, you need a more serious tool.

One page or many? One strong page — a block builder. A site with sections — a different tool.

Will you need to move it later? If the site is a long-term asset, ask about leaving the platform before you choose, not after.

What is the same on every platform

Whatever the platform:

A site does not appear in search by itself. The page needs a title, a description and text — on Tilda, on Google Sites and anywhere else alike.

Your own domain is paid for separately, because it is sold by a registrar, not by the platform.

And an empty site works nowhere. Beautiful, fast, correctly configured — but with nothing to say, it will not bring clients.
